While the park itself may be shielded, it's just a part of what stays of ancient Chacoans. Several outlier sites or ceremonial roadways might not also yet be determined. Chaco Society nationwide historic park, developed in 1907, includes a concentration of these ancestral Puebloan structures abandoned around 1200 AD.
