Continue to stir until Parmesan cheese is melted in and the sauce is well-blended. Alfredo sauce is a wealthy and creamy white sauce made with garlic, butter, heavy cream, and parmesan. This savory tacky sauce infuses garlic into the butter and can be used with every kind of pasta or even on top of vegetables.
Refrigerate – Any airtight container will work well to store the Alfredo sauce in. But I prefer to store mine in a Mason jar. It makes it straightforward to pour out a little at a time. It will keep within the fridge for up to 4 days.
