A magic item generator for Warhammer Online
The Random Loot Generator appeared in 2021 as part of the Shame Dungeon Rework. Since then, it has been used in many World of Warcraft Add-ons like Jar Fix and Softpedia. All random loot worldwide was generated in this manner in July 2021. It is also used in the Wrath of the Lich King, which implemented it in the Tuskarr Village, allowing players to get rare items dropped by enemies that drop certain items. Today, it's used on a number of World of Warcraft add-ons, including the upgraded version of Jar Fix.
There are two ways to use random loot generators: softpedia style and hardcoded. For softpedia-style use, copy and paste the code provided below into your game's inner workings. The code is in the addon that allows random loot to be dropped on mobs within raid (i.e. Easycore raid
/lpquicks generates a list all available quests within your questing region. Simply type the quest name into "qs". You'll see a generator with many different options. To have more loot on your screen, simply change the value in the variable called "lootbags".
The code below can be used to hardcode the way. Just enter the exact path you want the script to follow. In your character's inner workings, paste the code. Put the variable named "item_properties" in front of the code to increase hit or mana regen, respectively.
Change the code to give the player additional items to loot, or to increase hit and mana regen. In this example, randomness was set to random for the item property. Change the maximum hit for monsters and maximum mana to allow them to drop more loot.
The last step is to use your add-on's generator. Click on the generator to open the option to change the parameters for random loot. Click on it and put the parameters in the "monster loot" section. Here you can specify how often a monster must drop items before the cycle ends. That's it!
You can increase the generator's maximum durability if you want to get more from it. We did this by increasing the max durability from 500 up to 1000 for boss loot. We wanted to give players more items so they could fight harder bosses. You could also change the properties of the item, such as "unique," which will increase the challenge. This will make the item more difficult to find, and make it much more valuable.
You can increase the drop rate for rings, amulets, boots and gloves by increasing the hit point, mana regen and area hit. Multi-strike items will give you the best chance of maximizing your characters' benefits. For example, you could make a shield that has hit points and fortify defenses. Combining all this with the right magic object will dramatically increase your character's leveling speed and efficiency.
