Why no Hero Forge anymore?

It definitely breathed some life into this game when things were getting stale and I know all of us have a lot more time on our hands with everything going on.  Was there ever an official answer why this was abandoned?

The knowledge needed to create new heroes (there’s a lot more to it than the art) is not available at this time. Hero Forge last ran when Juicebox had the game which is over 6 years ago.
